Persian Rice Recipe

One of the best rice dishes that I have ever tried in my life replicated in this simple yet delicious recipe.

One of our favorite places to eat at is called the Pomegranate. It’s a quaint restaurant downtown Greenville, SC. This was the place where we went on our first date after which I knew that my husband was the one. I still remember what we had. We had some pita and hummus as an appetizer which also came with a slice of cheese and european butter laid out on a bed of mint leaves and surrounded by raw walnuts and radishes. We both ordered chicken kabob with some delicious Persian rice. Everything was so scrumptious. It made that night so much more memorable.

So I finally found a recipe that was similar to the rice that this restaurant serves. I made it three different times and tried to tweak a few things before posting this recipe for you all to enjoy.

I will link all of the ingredients that I used below. (Most of them I found at my local Trader Joes)

“WARNING: If you are cooking for a smaller family and you think you may have enough for two meals, that might not be the case. Your family will want seconds. :) LOL”

You don’t have to get all of the ingredients from Trader Joes for this recipe, but I just wanted to share with you the ingredients that I used and the one place that you can go to and get everything that you need to prepare this delicious meal.
